We still have a good selection to choose from!
We have received so many emails and phone calls about what is available, please visit the shop and see. It will make it much easier on the staff as there is way too much to list.
We began this adventure in 2004 and have had the good fortune to build a wonderful quilting business and community. It has been important for us to provide quilts and other items for many organizations and community members and has given us great satisfaction to do so with your help. The quilting community has become like family and we have embraced it and loved it. Our vending at shows has allowed us to expand our relationships beyond the physical shop and also create a new family with the other vendors. We have been blessed with such wonderful people around us and are very thankful.
As many of you know, our building is for sale and we have been taking it one day at a time. That information has lead to many rumors and questions. After much consideration we have made the decision to retire (somewhat) and close the shop - this is a bit earlier than intended but believe it is the right time for us. This letter is a hard one to write and is with mixed feelings but we feel at peace with our decision. It has taken a long time to make this decision and many factors have been involved. We have both been given warning signs that is time to take life a bit slower and have some time for things that we would like to do.
We will continue to offer classes and provide our services over the summer.
Lenny will continue to provide machine repair and scissor sharpening from our home. We will also continue to provide machine quilting for customers. Information on those services will be available at the shop or you can contact us for more information.
We will be at the Vermont Quilt Festival and the Bayberry Quilt Show. Our closing date will be August 20.
